Ms. Sun studied electrical engineering as an undergraduate and began studying sociology in her master's program. The GRM program, which focuses on interdisciplinary learning, played an important role to bridge the gap between the humanities and sciences. 

Studying with peers from different cultural backgrounds broadened her horizons and gave her the skills to lead and organize a team as well.
