On July 31, 2024, students of the GRM course “On-site Group Work” visited the Technology Innovation Centre (TIC) of Daikin Industries, Ltd.

Following the preparatory lectures on July 27, as part of the GRM course 'On-site Group Work', the participants visited the Technology Innovation Centre (TIC) of Daikin Industries, Ltd. in Settsu City, Osaka Prefecture.
 
At the Daikin TIC, after English presentations on the company's profile, its global expansion and initiatives to address environmental issues, and efforts to address environmental challenges, a tour of the museum and the open lab was conducted. The participants learned about the history of the company's products and technologies, as well as its corporate culture.
 
During the on-site practice in Belgium, the participants will not only visit Daikin Europe's facilities and learn about European energy issues and initiatives, but will also visit international organizations such as the European Parliament, the European Commission and JETRO. Each group will discover local issues and discuss solutions through the program.
 
The results of each group's on-site practice will be presented at the final presentation session  on September 10.
