On September 10th, the final presentation session for the On-Site Group Work was held in　Shikokan　on Karasuma Campus.

The GRM students and the employees from Daikin Industry Ltd., who participated in the on-site practice in Belgium reported on their reflections and lessons learned during their visit.
 
During the preparatory session, the participants were divided into three teams. Each team conducted group work up until the very last day in Belgium and they continued their research toward their final presentations after coming back to Japan. Although the preparation time for the final presentations was limited; the groups were able to successfully identify some of the local issues and discuss potential solutions. In addition to the contents of the preparatory lectures, attendees also learned more about European clean energy policies, other environmental issues, energy technology, and marketing as it relates to the industry. After the presentations, a Q&A session was conducted.

Overall, it was a very fruitful session and everyone benefited from the participants and their diverse academic fields, occupations, and nationalities.
 
The employees from Daikin industry technology innovation center were also fortunate to participate in the final session via Zoom. In conclusion, we would like to express our deepest gratitude to Daikin European N.V. and all who have supported us.
