Mr. Hanai majored in mechanical engineering in graduate school and conducted research to contribute to solving social issues by utilizing collaborative robots and wireless monitoring. Through discussions with faculty and students from different fields of expertise in the GRM program, he deepened his international insights. He realized that technologies that are convenient and useful in one country may differ in another, meaning that solving problems requires not only technology but also approaches and discussions from various aspects such as policy. A single technological solution is not universally applicable.

By leveraging all the resources gained from the GRM program and the ability to tackle problem-solving, he aims to contribute to solving fundamental issues through his research in the future.
