Abstract
This documentary depicts the oftentimes difficult working realities of the increasing number of foreign workers in Japan. While the Japanese government moves forward with reforms to admit an increasing number of migrants, the underlying contradictions in the country’s so-called “foreign worker acceptance” policies remain unresolved – putting thousands of foreigners in precarious situations.
