Filing of Application | Place of submission depends on the graduate school with which the applicant is affiliated. | ||||||||||||
Examination Location | The examinations will be held at Imadegawa Campus. Information on the exact classroom will be provided on submission of application materials. |

Admissions Process | Applicants are examined based on their application materials, academic progress, and performance in the written (essay) and oral examinations. |
Qualifying Examination (QE)
QE must be taken BEFORE the entrance into Doctoral Degree Program (It is NOT possible to take QE after the entrance into Doctoral Degree Program).
If you intend to take an entrance examination for Doctoral Degree Program of Doshisha University and wish to continue GRM Program, please contact GRM Office to confirm when you should take QE.

Financial Support
Special Grant for Students on the Advanced Doctoral Program in Global Resource Management
Doshisha University will provide grants for career support to GRM Students who apply for.

Grant Application | Applicants must submit forms according to GRM International Student Grant Application Guidelines. |
Other Requirements | The grant is provided for students to concentrate on GRM Program. GRM Grant Students working as a TA, RA and etc. and receiving payment from the Doshisha University budget, GRM Grant Students can receive the payment for the work up to 5 hours per week. Off-campus work and part time work will be permitted, based on the “Permission to Engage in Activity Other Than That Permitted under the Status of Residence Previously Granted” of the Study visa. The grant is considered taxable income. For futher information, please contact Department of Advanced Research and Education. |
